The beauty of our present offsprings from our past which also constitutes the cornerstone of our future. They are like roots anchored deep into the history of a country, essential to its identity and overall image. Thereby the pertinence to preserve and promote heritage, both tangible and intangible, through commemoration & celebration of historical milestones.
On 18th April, we commemorated the ‘World Heritage day’ with this year’s theme focusing on “Heritage for generations” aiming at promoting intergenerational transfer of knowledge. On 18th May, our museums will be on the centre stage trying hard to portray their relevance in a growing digital world. There is certainly an acute need for a more responsible development, for a future that makes sense, that is not dehumanized… Because our story, wherever we come from, is written in our genes…
