Ingredients
75 g Mayil spices for briani, 1.5 kg chicken, 700 g potatoes, 750 g basmati rice, 150 g sliced onions, 75 g Mayil fried onions, 20 cl sugar-free curdled milk, 20 cl vegetable oil, 50 cl water, 1 g saffron, 2 tbs garlic and ginger, 25 g minced mint, 50 g minced coriander, salt.
Preparation
- Soak rice for 2 hours.
- In a pot, mix the chicken with oil, Mayil spices for briani, onions, garlic, ginger, coriander, curdled milk, potatoes and half of the Mayil fried onions.
- Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Add 50 cl of water and mix well.
- Cook rice in boiling water for a few minutes.
- Spread the rice over the marinated mixture.
- Over the heat, sprinkle the mixture with saffron water and the remaining Mayil fried onions.
- Cook for 40 minutes.
